Terms and Conditions

Please carefully read the following terms and conditions to which applicants agree when booking for membership plan, training (classroom/online classroom/self-paced), credential/practice test and events.


Cubewise EDU reserves the right to review and update the terms and conditions periodically.


General Booking

Prices

Cubewise EDU reserves the right to change prices without notice.

Ownership and intellectual property rights

All materials are owned by Cubewise EDU. All intellectual property rights in all materials available, including the design, graphics and text of all printed material and the audio of all webinars are owned by Cubewise EDU. No content may be copied, reproduced, uploaded, posted, displayed or linked to in any way, in whole or in part, without Cubewise EDU’s prior permission and you may not allow anyone else access the material via your log-in details. Any such use is strictly prohibited and will constitute and infringement of the Cubewise EDU’s intellectual property rights.


Membership Plans

Solo Plan
  • Membership would be for a 12-month period, commencing on the date specified by the candidate.
  • No refunds
  • You may transfer your place on the course to a substitute. Substitutions should be notified to Cubewise EDU at least 48 hours prior to the course start date.
  • If you fail to attend the course on which you are booked without giving 5 days’ prior notice to Cubewise EDU, we are unable to refund the course fees or offer a transfer.
  • Candidate to complete one pre-selected course.
  • Candidates will have access to the course resource for the duration of the membership.
  • Cubewise EDU reserves the right to postpone or reschedule a course. We will endeavor to let students know in advance.
Power User Plan
  • Membership would be for a 12-month period, commencing on the date specified by the candidate, or 30 days from the invoice date.
  • No refunds
  • Membership is not transferrable.
  • Candidates will have access to all courses in the Cubewise EDU course library.
  • Candidates will have access to the course resource for the duration of the membership.
  • Each course can only be attended once.
  • Candidates renewing the Power User Plan will have the ability to redo any course once, as self-paced, and attend an online classroom for courses not previously attended.
  • If you fail to attend a scheduled online classroom that you are booked without giving 5 days prior notice to Cubewise EDU, you forego the course for the duration of your membership.
  • Cubewise EDU reserves the right to postpone or reschedule a course. We will endeavor to let students know in advance.

Training

Booking self-paced or classroom training.

When you submit a booking for training, your submission represents a commitment for Cubewise EDU to book you into the course you selected. On submission, you will receive an automated summary email of your selection.

Payment
  • Fees must be paid in full before you can attend any training if you do not have an account with Cubewise. If you have an account with Cubewise, payment must be made within 30 days from date of invoice.
  • All major credit and debit cards are accepted. A receipt will be sent to you by email confirming payment. Stripe’s secure online payment process, will receive the information needed to verify and authorise your payment card and to process your order. Stripe is under strict legal and contractual obligations not to disclose this information to third parties.
  • Please note that if you do not provide accurate details of your credit card, your application will be deemed void. Cubewise EDU will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of applications deemed void in this matter.
Learning

Self-paced virtual training

  • After booking for self-paced training, you will be provided access to Cubewise EDU’s server from a date and time specified by the candidate for 168 hours (7 days) with 10 hours of usage time to complete training.
  • The self-paced training course fee includes: 1 hour of mentoring, a training server, access to the EDU Community Hub and 12 months access to the digital course materials.

Online Classroom training

  • After booking for online classroom training, you will be provided access to Cubewise EDU’s server with 10 hours of usage time, on the date scheduled for training.
  • The online classroom training course fee includes: a trainer, a training server, access to the EDU Community Hub and 12 months access to the digital course materials.

Classroom training

  • After booking for classroom training, you will be provided access to Cubewise EDU’s server with 10 hours of usage time, on the date scheduled for training.
  • The classroom training course fee includes: a trainer, a training server, access to the EDU Community Hub and 12 months access to the digital course materials.

Credential

Applies for the TM1 Developer Credential and Practice Test for the Credential.

Booking
  • When you submit a booking for the credential, your submission represents a commitment for Cubewise EDU to book your place on the Credential platform. On submission, you will receive an automated summary email of your selection.
  • The TM1 Developer Credential comes with a Practice Test. You will be provided access to Cubewise EDU’s server from a date and time specified by the candidate for 7 consecutive days to complete the practice test.
  • For the credential, you will be provided access to Cubewise EDU’s server from a date and time specified by the candidate for 48 hours (2 days) to complete the assessment.
  • A video interview will be conducted with the candidate and recorded for review after the assessment.
  • The credential needs to be completed within 3 months of invoicing.
Payment
  • Fees must be paid in full before the credential commences.
  • All major credit and debit cards are accepted. A receipt will be sent to you by email confirming payment. Stripe’s secure online payment process, will receive the information needed to verify and authorise your payment card and to process your order. Stripe is under strict legal and contractual obligations not to disclose this information to third parties.
  • Please note that if you do not provide accurate details of your credit card, your application will be deemed void. Cubewise EDU will not accept any liability for costs incurred as a result of applications deemed void in this matter.
Cancellation
  • No refunds
  • You cannot transfer your place on the credential to a substitution.

Academic integrity, plagiarism and collusion

Plagiarism

Plagiarism means to take and use another person’s ideas and or manner of expressing them and to pass them off as your own by failing to give appropriate acknowledgement. This includes material sourced from the internet or other students, and from published and unpublished works.

Plagiarism occurs when you fail to acknowledge that the ideas or work of others are being used, which includes:

  • copying work either in whole or in part
  • presenting code as your own work
Collusion

Collusion means unauthorised collaboration on assessable work (written, oral or practical) with other people. This occurs when you present group work as your own or as the work of another person.

Collusion may be with people internal or external to Cubewise. Collusion occurs when you:

  • work with one or more people to prepare and produce work
  • allow others to copy your work or share your answer to an assessment task
  • allow someone else to write or edit your work
  • write or edit work for another student
  • offer to complete work or seek payment for completing academic work for other students
Suspected breaches of academic integrity

If the assessor suspects you have breached the Academic Integrity Policy (e.g. by plagiarising or colluding) they are required to:

  • inform you of the suspected breach
  • identify the work and its source
  • ask you to respond

You will have the opportunity to respond within 48 hours.

Possible outcomes

If the assessor believes that a breach took place, they must decide whether the breach was intentional or reckless. The assessor will also inform you of the penalties that may be applied.

Intentional or reckless plagiarism or collusion

If the breach is found to be intentional or reckless, penalties applied will depend on the seriousness of the offence. These may include:

  • the work not being assessed
  • a zero grade for the section
  • exclusion from working at Cubewise

Events

Booking

When you submit a booking for an event (e.g. conference, client day, seminar, webinar), your submission represents a commitment for Cubewise EDU to book your place. On submission, you will receive an automated summary email of your selection.

Payment (for paid events)
  • Fees must be paid in full before you can attend any paid event if you do not have an account with Cubewise. If you have an account with Cubewise, payment must be made within 30 days from date of invoice.

Cancellation (for paid events)
  • If you notify Cubewise EDU in writing that you wish to cancel your attendance less than and inclusive of 30 days before the start date, you will be entitled to a 50% refund. Refunds will be processed with 30 days of receiving your request via bank transfer to the original payer.
  • If you cancel greater than 30 days before the start date, you will be entitled to a full refund.
  • A transfer fee of 20% of the event fee (plus tax) will be payable if the notice is received less than 14 days before the start of the event. You must make any request to substitute your attendance in writing to edu@cubewise.com.
  • Cubewise EDU reserves the right to cancel a registration. In this instance payment made towards purchasing your ticket will be refunded in full.
